What is Astroshamanism?

Dear Friends,
This PAN reaches you while at Cluny Hill College we are in the middle of the Original Quest workshop, which this year features 24 participants, a most ideal number for binary healing work (12+12). This popular week began right on the Pahai Idrah, which is the main celebration of the Sacred Cone. (If you wish to read a brief account of one my visions on the Sacred Cone, please click here). This was also the occasion for the launch of APIS, a major non-HAC astroshamanic development. Information on APIS are available to members of AN (Astroshamanic Net), the official astroshamanic forum group. If you wish to join AN please contact me.
This PAN covers the second round of Cancer, including the remaining binaries, a preliminary report on the Original Quest, a most inspiring piece by Carol Day and other regular features.
The Original Quest will be followed by the Emilia Retreat, (near Bologna in Italy from 23 to 30 July 2006) the most advanced astroshamanic event during the summer season. There are still some places available for this unique retreat, which I gently recommend. Other relevant events are Sacred Theatre, from 2 to 8 September 2006, Astroshamanic Healing: Restoring Sacred Relationships from 16 to 23 September 2006, and the Latium Astroshamanic Retreat from 29 September to 1 October 2006, in the mystery Mountains of the Dukess at Corvaro near Rome.

Astroshamanic Sky:[i] The Moon transits Scorpio from 5:14, 5 July 2006 to 14:15, 7 July 2006, then it moves into Sagittarius until 19:26, 9 July 2006, when it shifts in Capricorn. From 21:47, 11 July to 23:01, 13 July 2006 the Moon transits Aquarius, then it moves through Pisces until 0:40, 16 July, which is the time when it enters Aries where it will move until 3:45, 18 July 2006. Mercury is retrograde from 19:34, 4 July 2006 to 0:41, 29 July 2006, entering Cancer at 20:19, 10 July 2006.


ORIGINAL QUEST. The Original Quest: An Astroshamanic Healing Voyage of Soul Retrieval Into Space and Time is the workshop Franco is currently running in Cluny Hill College, from 1 to 7 July 2006, assisted by Naomi Ojima and CK. 24 participants are attending the workshop. There are representatives from all five continents, including the following countries: Austria, Brasil, Canada, Denmark, England, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Scotland, South Africa, USA.
Naomi Ojima, celebrated shamanic artist and Franco’s assistant in this workshop, draws a special spirit painting for each day of the Original Quest. The one above is about Saturday. Celia McKenna, also luminously assisting, deals with photograps and filming.

Saturday, 1 July 2006. A major feature of the Original Quest is that the whole environmental constitutes the basic guideline for the programme. Here the level of perception ranges from the immediate local environment, i.e. from the area of Cluny Hill College to the wider scenario of the sky and the entire planet. One of the most typical features of astrology and its application to shamanism regards its capacity to define the characteristics and the energetic nature of a specific moment in time. We are part of a great cosmic whole where things move at different levels and cycles. To acknowledge these cycles allows us to gradually harmonise our lives with those of other beings and expand our identification. An effective strategy to connect with these patterns is being aware of the lunar cycle and the position of the Moon and Sun in each sign. Another method, typical of the western esoteric traditions, is also the system of the planetary days and hours. This involves being aware of the association of every day and hours with a planetary energy. Here, the simplest planetary association refers to the seven days of the week: Monday for the Moon, Tuesday for Mars, Wednesday for Mercury, Thursday for Jupiter, Friday for Venus, Saturday for Saturn, Sun for Sunday. In those days the influence of the related planets is considered to be the highest. Hence, in the Original Quest, on Saturday we work with the energy of Saturn. This implies being aware of one’s roots, where I come from and the purpose that brought me here to attend the workshop. On a Saturday, rather than providing new information and tools, Franco invites participants to focus on the teachings they have already received from their life, allowing the whole process that brought them here to be honoured and acknowledged as part of the workshop itself. It is a time of landing, arriving here and integrating.

Sunday, 2 July 2006, PAHAI IDRAH. This is the day of the Unveiling of the Sacred Cone, from the Prokumenaun Pahai, “sacred cone” and Idrah, “revelation”, according to Franco’s tradition. As part of the protocol all Original Quest one-week workshops need to coincide with either the Summer Solstice or the Pahai Idrah. At around 7:30 Franco has an accident, both involving HAC and non-HAC issues, and badly hurts his left foot. As a result he has to walk with crutches and limit his movements as much as possible. Nevertheless he runs the traditional percussion session in the Cluny Sanctuary, the Spirit Guide voyage and the Pahai Idrah Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone in the Ballroom.

Monday, 3 July 2006. The morning starts with the traditional processional itinerary Power Points-Underground Chamber-Medicine Wheel, followed by a guided tour of Cluny Garden conducted by Sverre Koxvold. In the afternoon participants meet again with Sverre, who explains the shamanic group project involving the Bees. The afternoon is devoted to recapitulation at different levels. This process involves translating personal history into collective history and fourth-dimensional into third-dimensional mapping. Participants transfer their life story into the territory of Cluny and begin their Original Quest healing work. In the evening there is a Healing Trance Dance in Cluny Ballroom.

Tuesday, 4 July 2006. In the morning the group goes to Primrose Bay with the aim of doing release work by the ocean. The afternoon session entails accessing the core of the Quest and features the Healing Binary Mystery practice, which as part of a novel protocol, is not meant to be disclosed through writing, for the time being….

Original Quest Sunday Morning in the Sanctuary by CK: We gather in the sanctuary and focus on our Intent and on meeting with our Guide as Franco drums energetically, the room filling with sound and energy. And I am a child again, holding Mark’s hand. And I remember we talked to the angel together. We shared the vision. And then I was alone. And I could go myself, but it wasn’t the same. And so I searched, searched for someone to come with me. But the others would not come and pulled me away, away from the angel. I see a golden bird; it’s feathers so soft; I nestle into it. I see my Guide; I see his face so clearly. And this is all I want, and this is all I seek. One to share the vision. I sat alone with a marble he had given me. I rolled it around and around the large circular tin. It rose up the walls, spiralling until it flew away. Over and over again. I see light, beautiful light and the fluttering of birds’ wings beside my head. My heart explodes and this is all I want, all I seek. Just to be here and rest. And to bring the others, every last one. In peace and light and unity.

The Needy Child by Carol Day:
This is who she is: the needy child. She stamps and screams, stamps and screams. She wants to be held. She wants to be held so tight. She wants to be understood. She wants to be understood so completely. And only by you. Only by you, whoever you are. You could be anyone really. Someone she can get her mitts onto and control. Someone who she can project her fantasy onto of being her sole provider. The one who is here to make her happy. The one who is here to give her whatever she needs. To be staticised in time. To be completely and unutterably there for her so that she can never grow up and have to realise herself. The one who can keep her in this freeze frame and let her exist as the dictator of this show.
But you will not hold her. You will not let her get away with it. It doesn’t work that way. You won’t allow her to have control. You’ve got your own destiny, you are free. And besides, you’ve got your own needy child to contend with too.
Oh needy children, needy children, why do you come through? To be heard. For listening to. Not to be obeyed but to be listened to. Come little children and suffer unto me. What can we hear in your plaintive moans of discontentment?
I stare my needy child straight in the eyes. She is sulky and sullen, down-faced and harsh. ‘Go away!’ she snaps. ‘No, come back!’ she squeals. ‘I don’t know!’
She is very confused. Needs a good shaking really. And only by standing still and observing her, being completely still with her, will she shake herself open and will reason prevail. Can’t let her through to anyone else. Though she tries so hard. Can’t let her get hold of a man and let him be prey to her clutches. Though she tries and God, my whole entourage of characters want to go on with her and let her lead the show. They go weak in her presence. She is so strong and defiant. Why do we let her run loose and cut us around like this?
Because she is important. Needy child, you are so important to us. Without you we would not see the wounds that we are here to heal. But I need to take so much responsibility for her. I need to be there for her, me and all my other parts. Otherwise she creates complete havoc in everybody’s lives. Otherwise it just goes on endlessly, this merry-go-round of hell which is really my beautiful life.
So, I’ve got a pair of reins for her. Never really believed in reins for my real-life children, but for my psychological hell-bender, psychological reins are what is needed. She’s on reins for a while until we have learned how to listen to one another.
What are these psychological reins made of? They are made of the finest gossamer from the most beautiful angel-wing thread, woven by the fair hands of the representatives of the Order of Love. They are sturdy and strong without an ounce of bitterness in them. She knows that.
She is crying now. Needy child presents wounded child, a deeper and more flexible layer of the self. What are you crying about? ‘I am crying because I feel this love trickling down my spine. And it isn’t a love I would ever have imagined is true. It isn’t a love my neediness recognises. It is a soothing balm and I realise how far away from real love I am. I am wounded because I am so separate. Help me to find my way. Listen to me. Help me to find my way.’
‘Wounded child, show us the way’, the Representatives of the Order of Love speak through me. ‘Show us the way. Truly you are in charge. But only by letting your needy child expose you, the wounded, can we ever make any progress. Show us your wounds. Cry them, moan them, act them, scream them. Show yourself the wounded who has come here to disclose the karma, point straight into the knots of terror and helplessness. Expose it all. Let us listen. And we will guide you through to union with your higher self again.’
After this voice has spoken I sit back and think. It’s all so obvious. But it’s all so hard. Stepping out into the world out there with a needy child on reins is still a nightmare, there are needy children everywhere ready to fight. What can be done about it?
My practical self comes through. Distribute the stores of the psychological reins. They are being mass produced right now by the Representatives of the Order of Love. How can I distribute them? Let people know.
Here is my needy child. She comes through as wounded now that the beautiful reins are fixed. I can be kind to her. I can be responsible for her. But she needs some friends. If you would like to be her friend send a line to the Representatives of the Order of Love for a free set of beautiful psychological reins. Then we can trust and see how fast the healing comes when we listen to one another.
Is it that easy? No, it will still be hard. But the reins will show how the difficulty can be effortless.

Binaries:

4.8 (Sun in Cancer and Moon in Scorpio) blends Cardinal Water with Fixed Water. Those who resonate with this combination[ii] are most potent, explosive, dramatic, magnetic and sensitive beings. These folks are predisposed to impart a profound sense of emotional protection, which extends into the depth of most arcane ancestral roots, emanating an impelling sense of tribal devotion and purpose. Those in search of their origins and soul’s path are drawn by 4.8 people, since they represent the gateway and initiators into the mystery traditions, the re-awakener and midwives of most dormant memories. Multi-dimensional and non-HAC erotic romance reaches a peak in this ardent combination. Consequently, this is in HAC one of the most misunderstood, persecuted and demonised binary systems, incorporating the torments of the Inquisition with their less glamorous, yet much more vicious, contemporary equivalents. 4.9 (Sun in Cancer and Moon in Sagittarius) mixes Cardinal Water with Mutable Fire. This combination produces outgoing and adventurous beings, eager to launch into audacious original quests for truth, and yet capable to maintain the connection with their ancestral roots. Here prudence, security and firmness merge with freedom, enthusiasm and risk-taking. The adherence of 4.9 to truth is immaculate and stems from ancient roots of integrity and perseverance. These beings often operate as custodians of ancestral wisdom and epics, which they eloquently communicate, while making sure that it is honoured by the recipients and strenuously opposing any falsity or misuse. Naturally sincere, frank and direct, they hold high standards in their interaction with others, and are horrified by pretence and deception.
4.10 (Sun in Cancer and Moon in Capricorn) This is the Full Moon binary, blending cardinal water and cardinal earth. Cardinal signs are placed at the four cardinal points of the compass and indicate the start of each season. They represent the active and leading temperament, what sets the sense of direction. Hence, the urge for action and expression is furthermore emphasized in this Full Moon. Those who resonate with this binary can easily hold positions of authority and public responsibility. They possess a natural sense of discipline, the capacity to employ emotional resources for the manifestation of ambitious results, and the skills to bring about decisive shifts in the human cellular system.
4.11 (Sun in Cancer and Moon in Aquarius) blends Cardinal Water with Fixed Air, integrating the emotional sensitivity and nurturing qualities of Cancer with the multi-dimensional awareness and genius of Aquarius. Those who are blessed by resonance with 4.12 can exceedingly align with the marvels of the fourth-dimensional or emotional body, with the potential of giving it expression through major artistic and non-HAC deeds. Hence, they incite the prospect of shape-shifting into most sensitive, fluid, fantastic, nurturing, soothing and tender beings. This fabulous binary incorporates the widest range of emotions, including the most awesome and apparently devastating ones. And it is through emotions that genuine 4.12 people communicate. This is their inborn language, devoid of words, and comprising sighs, groans, trepidations, reveries, trances, raptures, tears, silences, howls, wails, ecstatic yells, kisses and the apex of liquidity.
4.1 (Sun in Cancer and Moon in Aries) mixes Cardinal Water with Cardinal Fire, integrating Cancer’s tenacity and nurturing spirit with Aries’s pioneering call and courageous nature. This binary incorporates major heroic beings, profoundly devoted to their homeland and tribal roots, aligned with the deepest source of ancestral expressions. They amazingly balance tenderness, protectiveness and the essence of the feminine archetype with warrior qualities and all the basic traits of the masculine. Those blessed with the active awareness of their multi-dimensional nature are thoroughly determined souls, replenished of fourth-dimensional purpose, storing the juice of arcane memories, unbendingly prepared to defend their integrity, ready to launch into most bellicose enterprises, yet always preserving their utmost sensitive, tender and nurturing qualities. 4.8 – Bhimar: This Nation can hardly be described through any current human language. The level of controversy that this realm potentially generates makes it challenging to provide details without incurring in fatal misapprehensions. All I can supply here are some inadequate and provisional etymological or historical references.
Bhimar comes from Bhima, the Lower World pristine beloved ancestral being.[iv] As a result, although I understand this conclusion may not seem very palpable – yet, believe me, it is! - Bhimarians are most renowned multi-dimensional heroic whores and prostitutes. Whore comes from the Old English hora, meaning “dear”, while the same term means “circle” in Hebrew. The Oxford English Dictionary and other dictionaries refer that earlier the word prostitute (from Latin prostituere “to expose or offer publicly”) was used in the sense of “to offer with complete devotion or self-negation”, “to offer passion or lust indiscriminately” or simply as a synonym for “to devote”. The notion of “sex for hire” is not inherent in the etymology. It was not until the early 17th century that the term denoted “given over or devoted to something evil” or references to women who sell sexual services. From then on prostitute began to be used figuratively to mean “debased” or “debasing”, corrupt. By mid-century, prostitute was well established in the sexual negative sense known today.
Bhimar holds the keys of the original Handorian ancestral sexual mystery traditions. Their sacred guardians are regarded as quintessence of beauty, love, service and compassion. They are among the most honoured Kallexian nationals and Handorian residents, and as such they are given towering respect and rank.
In Handor there is no separation between physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body, although separation can be consciously and provisionally generated for strategic game purposes. It is a universe based on playfulness, ecstasy, dance, entertainment and celebration, yet please bear in mind that such terms denote something far beyond human ordinary discernment. Furthermore, in Hnador there is no idea of sin, taboo or prohibition. Possibly the only elements that may come across as imperatives are those of having an Intent and honouring the basic agreements of the specific game one is in. Nevertheless these requirements come natural to Handorians as breathing and sleeping for human beings. Multi-dimensional fertility is particularly treasured in Kallex. Hence, games and dances serve the purpose of stimulating astroshamanic sexuality, which leads to multi-dimensional creativity. The lower Sacred Cone, with the apex pointing down, portrays the sacred vulva and womb, whereas the higher Sacred Cone, facing up, refers to the fertilizing and energizing element. In the pristine developments of the Game of the Sacred Cone, the two cones, once united, strategically separated as Rodnah and Handor respectively. Handor would then cyclically meet Rodnah, merging with her for creative purposes, and then separate again. Echoes of this process were humanly captured in the Sumerian sacred relationship rituals or hierosgamos.
"The hieros gamos, the sacred prostitute was the votary chosen to embody the goddess. She was the goddess' fertile womb, her passion and her erotic nature. In the union with the god, embodied by the reigning monarch, she assured the fertility and well-being of the land and the people. . . she did not make love in order to obtain admiration or devotion from the man who came to her, for often she remained veiled and anonymous; her raison d'être was to worship the goddess in lovemaking, thereby bringing the goddess love into the human sphere. In this union -- the union of masculine and feminine, spiritual and physical -- the personal was transcended and the divine entered in. As the embodiment of the goddess in the mystical union of the sacred marriage, the sacred prostitute aroused the male and was the receptacle for his passion . . . . The sacred prostitute was the holy vessel wherein chthonic and spiritual forces united." (Nancy Qualls-Corbett, The Sacred Prostitute: Eternal Aspect of the Feminine, Inner City Books, pp. 39-40).
In earlier human times these practices were gradually lost. The rank of those associated with Bhimar progressively declined, together with the experience of multi-dimensional sexuality, which was regarded as the foremost threat to the emerging strategic consensus reality we currently live in. Thus, whatever smacked of multi-dimensional sexuality was brutally repressed and eliminated. This shift can be traced in most ancient human myths. Bhimar related people fell from venerated, erotic and passionate beings to evil monsters and demons. For example, Inanna, the Sumerian queen of heaven, goddess of love and procreation, who praised her vulva and asked for her “holy churn” to be filled with “honey cheese”, is transformed into Tiamet, the dragon executed and dismembered by Marduk in the Enuma elish, the Babylonian mythic account.

4.9 - Tridumax: This Nation is particularly renowned for trance dances related with time-space journeys[1] and, for a series of reasons which - given the limited space and time - would be extremely complex to explain, with long underpants. Tridumax is a vast hollow surrounded by the Tridian Ranges, an emanation of the Kallexian Mountains. The mountains curve around the national territory like a barricade, and infringe within in three points. Tridumax is one of the most scenic areas of Kallex. The Nation’s many lakes, caves, waterfalls, bleak fells, underground passages and rocky mounts offer major ingredients for mystery tours and adventures. Tridumax became famous when a group of major Handorian players (including Rovan, Salinger and Makur) provisionally made it their residence and gave form to Laaxs, one of the most amazing team of the Handorian Tournament.

4.10 – Haragos: The nation of Haragos is the western end peninsula of Kallex, with its both glorious and notorious legendary black Rock of Kallex. This is the training and departing point of the Pioneers of the Sacred Cone. It was here that a selected team of Handorians prepared themselves and then moved into the 3rd-dimensional universe.[v] Another major feature of Haragos is the Quiu Lake and the adjacent Mount Nevram, a pilgrimage location of Kurandah’s devotees.[vi] Haragos is potently associated with Astroshamanic Touch.

4.11 – Risiax: This Nation extends on an elevated plateau formed by the convergence of the Tridian and Franian Ranges. This land is in deep resonance with my original ancestors and very meaningful for me. At the moment I do not feel emotionally prepared to write about it, and I will leave it for another time.

4.12 – Kalin: This is an archipelago grouping the most impressive islands of the South Handorian Sea. These are places of unfathomable connection with the third-dimension and, as a result, with Earth. They are sites of deep enchantment, where spells of separation melt in the blissful charm of unity. Hence, try it out! Connect with the islands of Kalin. Simply call upon the Kalin folks. Do it 12 times, saying “Kalin, Kalin, ….”, then wait a few seconds, and repeat it other 4 times. Finally take your spell of separation or any grievance at hand. Slide it down into the waters of the South Handorian Sea. Encourage its flow with the liquid escort of your lips and tongue, enliven with a silky sequence of whirling kisses, descending from the gentle valleys of the Kallex breast formation to the midpoint of the heart. And once you reach that centre, well, pause for there you are. Wait and strenuously grasp the charming liquid of unity. Please remember to share it with other fellow human beings.
Yes, this is the triumph of liquids! These folks converse through the alluring secretions of their bodies, dispensing poems and verses through saliva, sweat, and other fluids. Together with 4.2, 12.2, and 2.12 they are shamanic healing masters in liquid soul retrieval and tongue-twisting extravaganza. Here I prefer not to go into further contentious details. Yet I will disclose that their multi-dimensional lips and tongues play as ecstatic weavers of divine forgotten rhapsodies. To put it more candidly they are shamanic kissers. Where do you deem kissing come from? It is yet another of those most ancient healing practices, which long to be retrieved to its pristine inheritance in this current third-dimensional world. And these 4.12 characters converse fluently through kissing, just as they do through the movement of their feet and breasts. Yet, believe me, these are not scatterbrained folks. They possess a most incisive practical sense, and the capacity to implement honourable intentions. Yes, indeed! Honourable intentions promoted by the force of overwhelming liquids, emotions and enchantments, which are the building stones of veritable sacred dreams and aspirations.

4.1 – Kahprax: Moving into 4.1 implies coming from 4.12, and here I face a multi-dimensional gap. Whenever there is a shift from Pisces to Aries I confront with the possibility of gliding from the routine circle, which keeps repeating the same patterns, to the spiral, which further approaches the centre of unity and promotes soul retrieval. The Nation of Kahprax is the land of original brave warrior who emerged on the surface of the planet, moving through the multi-dimensional gap. They keep the memory of the pandemonium and the wretchedness of that pristine migration. They tacitly witnessed the agony and the screams of those who did not make it. They relentlessly struggled to get to the other side and eventually succeeded. And when they attained their goal, they found themselves solitary, with their beloved ones left behind, yet with the inheritance of the luminous seed to shelter and grow. Hence, Kahpraxian are heroic warrior single mothers. Please be aware that these terms have multi-dimensional implications and do not necessarily refer to third-dimensional forms. Hence, a Kahpraxian warrior single mother could also be a third-dimensional married mother, a woman with no children and even a man. Yet, frankly third-dimensional single mothers may find strong resonance with Kahprax.
Kahprax folks have a great heroic reputation in the multi-dimensional universe. They give birth no matter what. And in order to ensure this birth they can face all sorts of ordeals. Not only they manage to give birth in the most adverse circumstances, they are also capable of nurturing and taking care of their offspring regardless of danger and threat. They are masters in distributing and administering energy. As I said, they are those who, together with the Pahéray people of the State of Kirway, first emerged on the surface of Handor, holding the seed of the Sacred Cone and giving it birth in the most treacherous conditions. Not surprisingly, this maternal audacity, along with the blend of tender affection and impetuous forcefulness, make them one of the most powerful warrior folks in the multi-dimensional universe. The devotion to their offspring is such that none of them has ever been concerned to narrate their own myth. Hence, the pages of the Epic are almost blank when it comes to them. Alas, I do not have the time right to honour their sanctity. Yet, I did take Kahpraxian through my healing dance tonight. For I worship you as your son, lover and parent. And your dancing ambassador and sacred chronicler I am, there in the land of exile, joyfully awaiting the day of my return.
In these binary days, call upon Kahprax if there is a project and dream you are determined to give birth to. Cry out “Kahprax” four times, then pause, take a deep breath, and yell “Kaprax” one more time. As you do this, set firmly your Intent, let it spread through the sound of your voice until it reaches the portal of Kahprax warrior mothers. And remember, once the portal is reached, they will deliver. They will, though you may forget. Hence, be alert. Also relax, for they won’t expect anything in return. Yet, please, do give them all my love, and kiss them on the forehead. Do it for me!
