What is Astroshamanism?

Welcome to the Spring Equinox issue of PAN, reaching you on the approaching eve of the New Moon (at 2:44, on 19 March 2007, in 28° Pisces 07’), which is also a partial eclipse of the Sun. The proximity of the New Moon with eclipse and Equinox makes the access to the first spring of the cycle 2007-2012 a most fabulous event (see details in the article below, The Spirit of the Equinox).
This time traditionally stands for the preparation of the opening of the Eastern Gateway, the fiery cycle of clarity, vision and illumination, bestowing blessings of authenticity, courage and honesty on all those who are ready to embrace them. Spring brings the renewal of the earth, as well as the potential regeneration of our unique nature through the connection with our higher self, Spirit Guide, Core Multidimensional Identity or whatever you call That (see article below titled The Spirit Guide and Core Multidimensional Identity). The previous voyage through autumn and winter involved the cleansing descent into the realm of darkness and the retrieval of precious gifts from the roots of our ancestors. If we are available to thoroughly play a part in the sacred theatre of life, spring carries the opportunity for consciousness to return to the light, setting off foremost healing enterprises and luminous pathways for the benefit of all, including next generations.
In multidimensional terms past and future generations are merely our own duplicates set in different time frequencies. By honouring them, we honour ourselves in the present and also discover who we truly are. In some of the most ancient mystery traditions of the planet life was set up through the ongoing awareness of seven generations. This entailed considering present events in the perspective of seven generations both past and future. Past and future were acknowledged as parallel universes co-existing in the present. It was considered vital to establish regular rapports with those universes for this would uphold the persistence of the web of life. Then the Human Arbitrary Configuration (HAC) and its belief systems based on separation prevailed, producing our current fragmented reality confined in a time limbo zone.
The beginning of spring is a most ideal time to initiate new healing ventures aimed at mending the web of life and retrieving our lost connections. As the Sun enters its luminous cycle of ascension, ample energy is available to implement pioneering actions for large scale healing processes. These opening deeds are crucial in the realisation of all greatest achievements that ultimately reach completion on this planet. They require guts of steel, heroic spontaneity, openness, audacity, luminous assertion, playful excitement and all the other spiritual warrior qualities of Aries, the fist sign of the zodiac. Hence, if there is something you truly cherish in life for yourself and others, this is a great time to take action, to move towards that result. Yet, in doing so, the challenge is to progress beyond individual motivation and allow the realisation of your intent to become a multidimensional achievement, involving ancestors, future generations and other folks living in the present time. In this way an intention is meant to benefit all parties and release the illusive identification with our separated ego, thus becoming an Honourable Intention.
On the first day of spring, which this year starts on 21 March 2007, at 0:08 GMT, and also as from 18 March 2007, around the time of the New Moon and eclipse, throughout the Astroshamanic Network various celebrations will be held. All these events aim at supporting the global healing grid and a loving multidimensional shift in human consciousness. At Findhorn and other locations, we will start an astroshamanic long term project meant to activate a grid of Sacred Cone healing rays in all parts of the globe. The aim is to create astroshamanic sacred circles in different parts of the world. These circles will cover large portions of territory and will consists of 12 Sectors, which also expand outward through the globe establishing connections with the other circles More information about the initiative will be disclosed at a later stage only to those who are interested in the project. If you feel drawn by the above, please contact us. Workshops related with the above project are: the Grand Original Quest at Corvaro, near Rome in Italy, (15-21 June 2007), the Original Quest (7-13 July 2007) at Findhorn, and the Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering, from 20 to 26 July 2007 (see info below).
From 18 to 22 March 2007, the gentle appeal is to celebrate group practices, such as the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone or other similar astroshamanic rituals, including distant healing work. Yet the challenge of this cycle 2007-2012 rather than performing rituals, involves taking direct actions and manifesting concrete results in our visible HAC reality. The New Moon may draw intuitions and guidance regarding what is the best course of action. Hence the real invitation is to be open and embrace the way we can best serve ourselves and the whole to which we belong. Please contact provordo@yahoo.co.uk if you wish to receive more details about network activities.
After the Spring Equinox I fly to France and then to Italy. In Jesi (Italy) I will hold The Way of the East, a seminar devoted to the energy of spring and the element Fire, from 31 March to 1 April 2007. Later, at the apex of the Holy Week, from 7 to 13 April 2007, I run The Blessed Way of Passion at Findhorn, followed by Multidimensional Portals of the Senses: A Gateway Course in Astroshamanic Healing Touch in the mountains of Vogelsberg near Frankfurt (Germany) from 20 to 24 April 2007 (Erik: emansson@hotmail.com Tel. 069/95504794 Mob. 0171-3493424). This event is a most significant opportunity to learn new advanced applications of astroshamanic bodywork
May you be ecstatic, peaceful and firmly connected with the healing power of spring.
Blessings, Franco

The Spirit of the Equinox by Franco Santoro

The spring equinox heralds the departure of darkness and the promise of increasing light. It is the border zone between the Lower World and the Higher World, a time when from the Middle World and our HAC reality, we can equally address the beings of the other two worlds. These include our ancestors and future generations, our past and future, which in fourth multidimensional terms are merely two different locations coexisting simultaneously, together with our so called present. In these two areas, astrologically represented by the Immum Coeli and Medium Coeli, we continue to exist as multidimensional beings, while our HAC identity lives its separated existence. At this powerful time what is represented is the potential of a new beginning, the start of a novel cycle, which is tactically emphasized by the next six year from 2007 to 2012. These years are meant to establish a gateway between our human separated reality (HAC) and the Core Multidimensional Identity (CMI), who is the central self encompassing all the three worlds and abiding beyond time-space. These years are intended to expand our horizons, producing a radical shift from individual to collective, from limited to expanded consciousness. A likely development in this process is that more people may come together, creating, promoting and supporting multidimensional healing networks and communities. This does not necessarily mean living in the same environment. The novelty of this cycle is the resonance with a multidimensional sense of communion abiding beyond the limitations of the conventional material plane and all the related HAC grievances. This implies unveiling the higher level of density that connect us all with the true matrix of our being, reawakening and employing our multidimensional bodies, travelling through time, learning to meet in alternative configurations, promoting synergy and ultimately gaining the freedom to release the painful connotations of our human separated reality.
The Spring Equinox occurs precisely when the Sun enters Aries at 0:08, 21 March 2007. It will be preceded by a New Moon at 2:44, on 19 March 2007, in 28° Pisces 07’. This is also a partial eclipse of the Sun (visible from eastern Asia and parts of northern Alaska). When there is a solar eclipse the New Moon is most remarkable. The fact that it is closely followed by the equinox, makes the access to the first spring of the cycle 2007-2012 an awesome event. The Moon provisionally blocks the light of the Sun, providing a glimpse of suspension from HAC and the opportunity to connect with what abides beyond our separate reality. The last times the solar eclipse occurred in the same zone of the zodiac in Pisces was on 10 March 1988 (27° Pisces 42’) and 10 March 1969 (27° Pisces 25’). If you were around in those times on this planet, it would be ideal to retrieve memory about what was happening in your life then. Those two times zones are connected with each other and also linked with the upcoming New Moon, creating a trinity of time-space locations, which could unveil significant details and energy.
Solar eclipses are generally related with visible events occurring in the HAC world and a sense of hyperactivity. Hence they are superlative to initiate changes, make commitments, start projects, take quantum leaps and embrace synergy. They express all the typical qualities of Aries, which is the sign the Sun will enter shortly after having met the Moon. The effect of an eclipse is strong also three months before and after, with consequences developing also in the following three years.
A series of projects are being developed in the Astroshamanic Network during these New Moon and Spring Equinox days, including the following months leading to the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox. In the period from 18 to 22 March 2007, the invitation is to join in collective rituals and energy work. For example, the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone could be used or other practices involving releasing energy and then directing it towards a healing intention. Yet, the power of this time, is not limited to celebrations or work with non-ordinary states of consciousness. The challenge of the cycle 2007-2012 is to take pragmatic actions, to operate directly in HAC so as to manifest concrete results. The New Moon may draw intuitions and guidance regarding the best ways to do that. Hence the true incitement is to be open to embrace the way in which each one of us can give a pragmatic contribution on this planet, doing his/her part of the job and allowing that part to align with the larger network. The shift from individual to collective awareness is the major key of the novel cycle. Yet what is emerging here is also a new paradigm regarding the collective, which implies becoming receptive to the multidimensional implications of large group and organizations, the way they extend through time and space, seen and unseen.
Various forthcoming workshops, such as the Grand Original Quest in Corvaro (Italy) from 15 to 21 June 2007), the Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering at Findhorn (20-26 July 2007) and the Sacred Relationship Network retreat in Jesi (Italy) from 28 September to 3 October 2007, will focus on the themes discussed in these notes.

Spirit Guide and Core Multidimensional Identity
by Franco Santoro

Spirit Guide is a term mainly employed in the Western traditions to indicate entities that choose to operate as helpers and guardians for human beings. In Western spiritualism and occultism, Spirit Guides are regarded as beings that once lived on Earth (possibly to understand the implications of HAC life) and then decided to act as disincarnated teachers for incarnated beings. Their guidance is usually gentle, respectful and available upon request. This means that they will not dispense information unless you are open or make a direct invitation to receive it. Spirit Guides generally aim at expanding multidimensional awareness, often providing different perspectives from our usual ones, yet refusing to make decisions for us or predicting our future.
There are many types of Spirit Guides: some of them have specific functions, while others appear from time to time or only during a given period. Certain Guides are meant to accompany us on one part of our journey and, once we have mastered the related lessons, they move on, perhaps to guide others on that same path. Some Guides may be ancestors or deceased loved ones, who choose to assist as auxiliary helpers in various ways. There are also primary Guides who remain closely linked with our soul and stay available for the entire life. These may be one, two or three, and include connections encompassing the time before birth or after death. Their function is to operate as permanent linking agent between HAC and non-HAC, and representative of our eternal multidimensional nature. In astroshamanism they are called Vertical Guides, and are each associated with one of the Three Worlds (Higher, Lower, Middle).
A Course in Miracles provides a significant portrait of the Spirit Guide, who is identified with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is described through the course as “God’s answer to the ego” with “the task of undoing what the ego has made” (T79). He is regarded as the mediator between illusion and reality, or fear and love, “the remaining communication link between God and His separated Sons” (MT89), “the part of the mind that lies between the ego and the spirit, mediating between them always in favour of the spirit” (T132), a healing force operating within our consciousness to guide toward an ecstatic perception of life. According to the course the Holy Spirit “abides in the part of your mind that is part of the Christ Mind. He represents your Self and your Creator, Who are one. He speaks for God and also for you, being joined with both. And therefore it is He Who proves them one” (MT89). The aim of the Holy Spirit is to help us release our painful attachment to the separated reality we believe to live in. In this respect his support as a Guide is crucial. “You have set up this strange situation so that it is impossible to escape from it without a Guide Who does know what your reality is. The purpose of this Guide is merely to remind you of what you want. He is not attempting to force an alien will upon you. He is merely making every possible effort, within the limits you impose on Him, to re-establish your own will in your awareness” (T160).
In Gnosticism, the Spirit reveals himself through fragments of light which already exist in human beings and form a bridge between this world and the world of the True God. This God abides beyond any possible universe and has not created anything, yet he has emanated the substance of everything that exists in the visible and unseen world. During the process of emanation His essence moved far away and underwent considerable mutations, at times corrupted or alien. The Gnostic myths consider different layers of divinities or superior beings existing between the True God and us. One of them (Sophia) generated a perverted entity (Ialdabaoth, or the Demiurge) who, unaware of his origins, imagined himself as the ultimate God and became the creator of the material and psychic universe where we live. Gnosis means “inner knowledge”, which is the capacity to see the divine essence through layers of apparent reality. Here the Spirit Guide is meant as a filter and manifests differently according to the nature of each individual.
Guides are obviously a typical feature also in shamanism. Their role is crucial for they provide the required protection and help in order to move in the multidimensional realms. In situations of difficulties they can incite and produce the necessary power. They may warn about obstacles and traps, battle with hostile forces, or also provide teachings and direction. They can also be sent as emissaries to perform special healing tasks that the shaman cannot personally attend to. Shamanic achievements entirely depend on the help of Guides. However, when the individual refuse to answer his shamanic calling, Guides may cause frustration, pain and despair. For our true nature the Guide is the most intimate companion, just as for the ego it is the fiercest enemy.
Although their function has always been the same, the appearances and the names Spirit Guides have used throughout history is never-ending. Usually, Guides are stereotyped according to the belief systems and the culture of the persons involved. This is merely a didactical strategy aimed at helping us in gradually shifting awareness from HAC to non-HAC, which is essential especially in the first stages of connection with the Guide. In this respect the Guide refers to elements derived from the traditions and approaches that the person feels more aligned with. If the subject is attracted by Christian angels, Native Americans, Egyptians or spirit animals, these are the ideal forms the Guide can take. Guides can also use unconventional or unexpected forms, if this can best serve the personality of their contact.
All these adjustments are useful in the preliminary stages of the multidimensional reawakening process. Later the seeker may move on to a deeper connection with the Guide, which usually involves stepping beyond his HAC conditionings regarding what the Guide should be. This stage may imply a radical shift of perception, which not all individuals are ready to take. The reference here becomes the direct and unexpurgated experience of the Guide, progressively devoid of any adaptation to cultural stereotypes. At that stage the seeker will confront a fresh definition of the Spirit Guide, which may be poles apart from the preceding model. This new Guide can hardly be described in HAC, since it is what HAC mainly denies or misjudge in order to guarantee its survival. I call this deeper feature of the Guide, Core Multidimensional Identity (CMI).
In astroshamanism the Spirit Guide is alternatively defined as Core Multidimensional Identity (CMI). This term is aimed at firmly setting the Spirit Guide on a multidimensional level, avoiding romantic connotations and other misinterpretations caused by the term Spirit Guide. Traditional shamans and multidimensional healers are very practical beings, and are not concerned with spirituality, as most human beings understand it. For them the world we live in is a predatory universe, a game simulation or the fragment of a much vaster and complex reality. Here there is crucial and heavy work to do, which requires boundless pragmatism and no space for intellectualism or a mystical crush. These shamans, to put it as don Juan, regard spirituality as “an empty ideality, an assertion without basis that we believe to be very beautiful because it is encrusted with literary concepts and poetic expressions, but which never goes beyond that.” or “a description of something impossible to achieve within the patterns of the world of everyday life, and it is not a real way of acting.”[ii]

The Shamanic Way of Cinema – Part Two by Franco Santoro

An element that greatly distinguishes all human generations living in this current time frame from those of other ages is the effect cinema and television have had on their life. Through this media HAC has found its best way to settle and promote its separate reality with all its conditionings. While most television programmes and movies definitely support HAC’s paradigm of denial and isolation, it is also true that some works have the capacity to reawaken our multidimensional awareness, allowing significant communications from non-HAC to unfold. Substantial non-HAC information is often unveiled in the blink of an eye, despite the HAC basic content of the movie, and can get through only to those who are ready. These usually end up being a small minority, who is not bound to considerably affect consensus reality. Yet for some individuals exposure to such movies can operate as a decisive triggering element for retrieving soul parts, acquiring spirit medicines and may also function as a shamanic initiation. Symptoms of these effects occur when upon watching a movie, you feel deep excitement, amazement, love and power, which continues to last for hours and even days. Another indicator is that these feelings may set off insights, intuitions, ideas, aspirations and memories, which are not necessary related with the story of the movie itself. All in a sudden you are mysteriously moved by something that leads you into an expanded awareness, yet you realise that this is not due to the plot, the dialogues or a specific scene. It is difficult to explain what prompted it: perhaps the expression of an actor, the movement of an object, a sound. At times the entire film communicates multidimensional ideas, which deeply ground in our minds. However, the function of the movie is frequently simply that of igniting information already available in our minds. Hence there is a sense of reawakening, dejà vu and mysterious familiarity.
The essential point in my years of research on cinema and television is that, unless we become aware of our own creative power, HAC media drastically shape our reality and perception of the world. Their obvious and subtle information enters into our mind and creates specific effects, which then define the paradigms of our life. As a result, if you are on the path of multidimensional reawakening it can be very helpful to bring awareness regarding your approach to movies. First of all you may consider the types of movies you feel more attracted to, and then find out whether they are aligned with your intentions and with whatever you have chosen to deeply explore in your life. We are already exposed to so much conditioning in most of our required HAC activities (such as school, work, family, etc.) that is does not help much our healing consciousness to add even more during leisure or rest, which is usually when most people watch movies. By regularly absorbing certain programmes that support the perception of separation our minds are shaped accordingly and project a view of reality based on the denial of our true expanded nature. On the contrary, intentionally watching movies that trigger alternative states of awareness may reawaken your potentials and uplift your motivations. Here it is also important to be aware of your prejudices regarding certain types of movies. For example, if you notice that you have a strong resistance towards watching science fiction, comedy or war movies, perhaps it would be ideal to consider them, at least for a while. Shifting our movie watching tendencies is often a way of going beyond subtle conditionings and potentially opening up to unexpected healing developments.
Movies with non-HAC information provide a large variety of direct or indirect messages, which include the following: “the objective physical world we believe to live in (HAC) is a bogus, illusive, simulated or separated reality”; “time, death and the conflict between polarities, or good and evil, are deceptive and virtual features of this separated reality, and do not truly exist”; “everything and everyone is part of the same whole”; “our true nature is multidimensional”; “you are the creator of your own reality”. The latter is currently one of the main themes in recent movies, such as What the Bleep Do We Know!?, featuring interviews with leading authorities in the fields of quantum physics, molecular biology, neurology and metaphysical thought. In these works objective reality is explicitly and scientifically defined as the product of our minds.
Human beings either create their own reality or live in a reality created by someone else. As long as there is awareness regarding these options, life is shamanically powerful. Pain and all kinds of grievances develop when I become the victim of a separate reality with no possibility of shifting elsewhere or making any choice. This is mainly because I am not aware of my choice to play a part in this separate reality, however painful it may be. It is still a reality I have created, although I am not aware of my role as a creator and ascribe such a creation to someone else. “We see what we choose to see”, “You are making all of this. You are creating an entire world from your imagination” and “Everyone here has his private universe” says the spirit guide in the afterlife of the protagonist (interpreted by Robin Williams) of What Dreams May Come. Yet, things are not always as simple as that, and the slogan “you create your own reality” can easily be manipulated by the HAC advertising system. HAC has the capacity of polluting whatever it meets, and especially the ideas that appear to threat it. HAC sucks human expanded awareness and replace it with a separated programme. If the intent is to retrieve our multidimensional awareness, what counts is to move beyond the limits of the programme, no matter whether it is a low or high programme.
The basic requirement in life, as well as when watching films, is awareness. Awareness works with all conditions of life and also with all movies, no matter whether they provide overt insights into the multidimensional or minor subtle references and even none. As I wrote, in many cases, the movie may provide a deep inspiration or stimulus, regardless of its content. For this to occur a movie does not necessarily has to be a “spiritual”, “inspiring” or “good” movie. It is the way you are able to access its encrypted information that counts and this is available also in the most conditioning works. On the other hand, certain movies that appear very “spiritual” and “inspiring” may not leave any space for your own elaboration and end up conditioning you even more than those which seem to be of a much lower quality.
Here follow some suggestions in order to promote shamanic awareness when watching movies. Before starting the film, set an intention and connect with your Guide, asking to become aware of any element of the movie that can support your potential and your current healing path. Then, watch the movie, paying attention to whatever causes deep resonance, impressions, insight, amazement, or any remarkable feeling. Once, the movie is over, jot down some notes about the highlights of your experience. Then, using the highlights as a guideline, take a brief shamanic journey and thoroughly explore the movie in search of spirit medicines, guidance, or anything that can empower you. At the end, write down some notes about what you discovered and keep them for further reference. You may also decide to watch the movie again after some time, alone or with a friend.
What follows is part two of a synopsis containing a provisional list of movies with non-HAC components. Part one appeared in the previous issue of PAN. I am providing these lists merely as an example or glimpse of a larger study that I may expose in forthcoming years, especially as regards its shamanic healing implications. The lists refer mainly to titles with a wide international circulation especially in the English-speaking world. They also contain some updated references including the years from 1989 onwards. Each title in the list is preceded by the name of the director and followed by the year of production and in some cases its association to a Sector or Binary (in brackets). By clicking on the title you can get complete online details on the movie. If there are movies that proved meaningful for you or any shamanic experience concerning the realm of fiction that you wish to share, please contact me.

The Sensuality of the Void: Astroshamanic Touch and Astroshamanic Primal Embrace
Astroshamanism is indefinable, shapeless, beyond any word or rationalisation. It is not an intellectual pursuit or a certified curriculum, but something you can only discover through direct experience and exposure. Among the numerous applications of astroshamanic work, Astroshamanic Touch and Astroshamanic Primal Embrace are some of the most controversial and captivating. This is because they straightforwardly challenge the structure of our apparent physical reality, delving into its unseen matrix and retrieving the experiential awareness of the amazing realms that surround and penetrate us. Astroshamanic Touch is a unique way for understanding and working with the edges of HAC, moving through the boundaries of its autism and uncovering the links with the ecstatic nature of the web of life. It is an extraordinary multidimensional approach to spiritual healing bodywork, which Franco has intentionally woven from the wisdom of ancient traditions and more recent paths of liberation. The first complete course will take place in the mountains of Vogelsberg in the heart of Germany (60 km from Frankfurt) from 20 to 24 April 2007 with the title Multidimensional Portals of the Senses: A Gateway Course in Astroshamanic Healing Touch thanks to the organisation of Erik Mansson - emansson@hotmail.com +49 (0)69/95504794 or 0171-3493424 - and Valérie Saintot of Holistic Dialogue. If you intend to take a decisive action through your path of transformation, I recommend this event. The course is in English. If you are interested, please book at your earliest convenience through Erik.
Astroshamanic Touch and Primal Embrace utilise the dynamics of shamanic trance to create most energetic states of harmony in the body, soul and spirit. Through the sensitive and empowering use of ritual strokes, contacts and postures, operated in alignment with the earth rhythms and stellar firmament, this approach works on the multidimensional sexual body, reawakening the remembrance of our original nature and purpose. During the workshops or group sessions, the aim is to create opportunities for releasing individual and collective blocks, becoming a gateway for healing energies and directing them towards honourable intentions. Astroshamanic Touch works on the skeleton and bone structure, which is regarded as a crystal core multidimensional hardware for storing, distributing and redeploying information and energy. The third dimensional physical world is a mass of atomic material, which receives decisive animation from multidimensional substances dwelling far beyond our HAC field of observation. Whatever appears in HAC emanates from non-HAC energy fields, which Astroshamanic Touch aims at stimulating and bringing to our pragmatic human awareness. The task here is to align the human skeleton structure and all its outer layers (tissues, muscles, flesh, blood, organs, etc.) with our multidimensional self, bearing in mind that, as a result of this connection, our entire perception will drastically shift.
Our physical body is not a frozen structure hooked in a separated reality based on limited time and space. It is a dynamic vortex of energy, continually relating with a multidimensional field of energy. What we humanly perceive in HAC about our body is merely the product of belief systems based on separation and denial of our multidimensional nature. When you are open to release HAC boundaries, new and definitely much more exciting configurations emerge. Once these are consciously and pragmatically experienced, they can then be gradually integrated in HAC, healing our fragmented reality and reconnecting it to its original source.
During the course held in Vogelsberg in April we will discover ways of employing physical contact and sexual energy to foster expanded states of consciousness, retrieve soul parts, reawaken healing talents and integrate them in everyday life. We will explore the multidimensional sacred dynamics of shamanic sexuality, employing the body as a keyboard aimed at recovering and grounding planetary forces. The intent is to release blocks that hinder our potentials, celebrating the sacredness of our multidimensional body in alignment with the healing flow of energy. With deep trance body work, we will share ways of channelling profound passions, tranforming and merging them in accordance with one’s life purpose. All physical touch in this workshop is voluntary and optional, with no involvement of the genitals or other forms of sexual stimulation, and with boundaries set according to what is safe for each participant.
For bookings and information please contact Erik Mansson - emansson@hotmail.com +49 (0)69/95504794 or 0171-3493424. The course takes place from 20 to 24 April 2007 with the title Multidimensional Portals of the Senses: A Gateway Course in Astroshamanic Healing Touch and is held in a most powerful volcanic zones aimed at enhancing the subtle dynamics of this work.

What is Astroshamanism?
.
This PAN covers the mystery boundary zones between Pisces and Aries, the Neptune’s sacred time leading to the Spring Equinox on 21 March 2007. The days preceding the Equinox represent a decisive area in the cycle of the zodiac. Pisces, the twelfth sign, is the ultimate frontier, where energy reaches its climax and then restarts again from Aries, the first sign. The conclusion of winter holds the potential either to repeat the routine of the same monotonous cycle or to shift into an alternative configuration.
This is certainly an amazing time to connect with the rapid development of the Astroshamanic Network worldwide. I am touched by how so many are joining forces and coming together for manifesting honourable intentions and serving the expansion of human awareness. Spring offers major opportunities to establish powerful large-scale healing initiatives in our communities and environment. If you would like to be more directly involved with the Astroshamanic Network and know about local and global initiatives, please contact network@astroshamanism.org. All main forthcoming astroshamanic workshops will support ways of promoting and creating group healing activities and initiatives. In particular, this is the case for the Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering from 20 to 26 July 2007 (see details below) and the Grand Original Quest: A Multi-dimensional Voyage through Space and Time at Corvaro (Rieti, Italy), from 15 to 21 June 2007 (see details also below).
I have just completed the Foundation Training in Astroshamanism, a two-week workshop attended by 12 motivated participants. The workshop started with a New Moon and ended with the Full Moon and eclipse. It was a pioneering event, abundant with insights and understanding. The workshop has been partially recorded and a transcription may be available in the near future.
From 10 to 17 March 2007 I run an Experience Week here at Cluny Hill College. After the Spring Equinox I fly to Paris and then to Bologna. In Jesi (Italy) I will hold The Way of the East, a seminar devoted to the energy of Spring and the element Fire, from 31 March to 1 April 2007. Later, from 7 to 13 April 2007, I run The Blessed Way of Passion at Findhorn, followed by the long expected Multidimensional Portals of the Senses: A Gateway Course in Astroshamanic Healing Touch in Frankfurt (Germany) from 20 to 24 April 2007 (Erik: emansson@hotmail.com Tel. 069/95504794 Mob. 0171-3493424).
May you be ecstatic, peaceful and firmly connected with the healing power of the season.
Blessings, Franco

The Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering: Navigating into the Healing Synergy of the Network
For astroshamanism to be truly helpful, it needs to operate in ordinary reality and bring tangible results that can be clearly assessed and appreciated. In the past years the main effort of many friends and associates on the astroshamanic path has focused on manifesting honourable intentions and creating pragmatic results in their lives or environment. An honourable intent is aligned with the whole, which includes both HAC and non-HAC. An intention is honourable when I accept the participation of a wider configuration with which I choose to align and interact. The year 2007 has launched a cycle of 6 years meant to establish a gateway between the human separated reality (HAC) and our core multidimensional identity (CMI). This entails expanding our horizons and daring to see what is happening beyond our limited individuality. The novelty of this current cycle is that it may cause a radical shift from individual to collective, global and multidimensional consciousness. A practical implication of this process is that more people are going to come together, creating, promoting and supporting multidimensional healing networks. This involves acknowledging our best potentials and expressing them in a way which is useful for a wider and luminous configuration. The primary questions here are: what are the gifts that I can offer to the world? How can they benefit all parties involved? How can I best express these gifts? How can they shine and expand? How can I share them with others? How can I receive the gifts of others? How can I integrate my gifts with all other gifts? What can create the best synergy?
Synergy is that property of systems whereby the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It is the simultaneous action of various energies aimed at achieving honourable intentions. Synergy produces an unpredictable and astonishing power of manifestation that moves far beyond the apparent quantity of the forces involved. It is a multidimensional process, involving remote or unseen forces, parallel universes and the core tapestry of our being. A group high in synergy is one in which there is no conflict between selfishness and altruism, one in which it is not possible to be jealous because whatever others are or have will also benefit myself, one where I cannot hurt others because it is obvious that this will also hurt myself, one in which it is unquestionable that we are all part of the same whole. Although in recent ages this type of synergy has been ignored or rejected by most mankind, it is an integral part of reality and remains accessible to whoever is determined to navigate into its healing stream. The current planetary cycle offers a major opportunity to lay the foundations of new healing networks based on multidimensional awareness and synergy. This is definitely what we intend to promote in the astroshamanic realm. For this purpose a series of events are intentionally scheduled in the forthcoming months, such as the Grand Original Quest in Corvaro (15-21 June 2007) and the Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering (20-26 July 2007), about which I am providing some details below.
The Findhorn Astroshamanic Summer Gathering (20-26 July 2007) is a unique convergence of energy workers, trainees, organisers, associates and astroshamanic friends worldwide, aimed at supporting the weaving of a healing network aligned with the current multidimensional planetary shift. We will explore new ways of creating healing groups with the goal of lovingly serving our human and natural environment. We will encourage and share individual gifts, allowing them to harmonize and shine in the collective, laying vital foundations for manifesting honourable intentions. During this gathering we will also focus on:
- astroshamanic individual and collective rituals for healing nature and urban places, reconciling people, spirits and ancestors
- use and creation of power points, sacred cone circles, documents, artefacts and structures aimed at supporting multidimensional awareness, the retrieval of soul parts and the release of grievances.
- strategies and initiatives to face the current planetary challenges, and their potential effects on local and wider groups or communities.
- ways of creating, promoting and managing core groups, astroshamanic networks, mystery schools, distant healing work, sacred relationships and empowering energy exchanges among people.
- astroshamanic touch, primal embrace, trance dance, dream work and other advanced practices for collectively merging into the multidimensional realms in order to create bridges with ordinary reality and pragmatic healing results.
- devising, setting and celebrating a special healing gateway and Sacred Cone ritual to energize the Findhorn area and its connection with the grid of power centres worldwide.
- sharing experiences, friendship, care, playfulness and astroshamanic fun.

The Shamanic Way of Cinema by Franco Santoro
A most typical feature of Pisces and the ruling planet Neptune is its close association with creative arts, fiction and whatever involves giving form to the realm of imagination. This also entails the potential capacity to slide into parallel universes related with apparent works of fiction and access the keys of our creative reality generating mind. People with alien Neptunian traits (with Neptune conjunct Sun, Moon or Ascendant) are often endowed with such faculties, which may however be totally incomprehensible for them, as they definitely are for our consensus reality.
One of the basic traits of consensus HAC reality involves setting a constant discrimination between fiction and non-fiction. This aims at defining the boundaries between what is agreed as real and unreal, HAC and non-HAC, legally accessible or out of bound. Yet, although HAC is a separated reality based on the conscious denial and disregard of non-HAC, we have seen how in order to survive HAC has to draw energy from the united web of life and the multidimensional universe, of which it is ultimately a part. Since in HAC there is no official accord regarding the reality of non-HAC, the connection can only take place unconsciously or through means that do not affect HAC’s separation paradigm. These means provide the experience and energy of non-HAC, while at the same time preserving the boundaries of HAC’s separated reality by continuing to consider non-HAC as unreal. One of such means is the realm of fiction in literature, art, movies, theatre, etc. This is also one of the most common ways for non-HAC to filter into our separated world and dispense information or healing aids. There are numerous books and movies that give us an expanded view of reality and also contain coded non-HAC messages, spirit medicines, intentional multi-dimensional reawakening devices, gateways dynamics and other non-ordinary elements, which can potentially promote major developments in human consciousness when they are approached with focus and shamanic perspective. Here I also refer to fiction that appears on the surface as shallow HAC entertainment. These works are often more effective for they succeed in subtly delivering non-HAC information, while simultaneously complying with HAC standards. In this way only those who are open will receive the information. In order to identify such non-HAC elements an attitude of vigilance and focus is required whenever we watch movies or read books. This can gradually be trained and provide an effective source of access to the wider multi-dimensional network. Herewith I would like to emphasize that the distinction between fiction and non-fiction is a very recent development in human culture and is totally alien to tribal and shamanic traditions. For such cultures whatever can be experienced is indeed real, no matter whether it happens in a dream, fantasy, memory, desire or in what we consider to be the reality. Shamanic cultures and multidimensional beings operate on various levels of reality, each providing experiences. The experience has priority to such an extent that it is not truly essential to specify in which setting it takes place. Hence when tribal native people talk about their experiences it is not clear whether they occur in a dream, fantasy or in “real life”. The latter is merely an optional detail, which does not question the value of the experience itself. Tribal native people, as anthropologists have observed in their researches, are completely unable to understand our concepts of fiction and non-fiction, reality and imagination, HAC and non-HAC, unless they are thoroughly converted to our conditioning, which is indeed and alas what has progressively happened in the last two centuries.
A most effective way to retrieve our original wisdom and the reality that has been deleted from HAC awareness is to read books and watch movies containing intentional or accidental non-HAC information and multidimensional awareness enhancing elements. Despite the prevalence of conditioned, invasive and encoding material, deliberately designed to preserve HAC’s paradigm based on separation, there are a number of books and movies in circulation supporting the reawakening and shift of our consciousness. The characteristic of these works is that rather than providing fresh knowledge or information, they stimulate or re-activate details already available in our mind and memory. These specifically refer to the experience of the reader or spectator and may be entirely different from the apparent contents of the works involved. The function of these books and movies is to operate as gateways into the multidimensional realms, yet in a way which allows entrance only to those who manage to see beyond their facade. As a result, in order to benefit from such books and movies, the attention needs to encompass the general themes together with certain details of those works and especially one’s inner processes and visions. Certain movies have healing, empowering, releasing and other specific qualities, which may develop later in the following hours or days. After watching such movies profound insights or intuitions may follow, together with vivid and significant dreams. Here I need to stress that people react differently to these movies, depending on their level of awareness and specific lineages.
From 1981 to 1988 I decided to thoroughly explore the realm of fiction from a multidimensional perspective, which led me to accumulate a large amount of information on the way in which non-HAC has survived in HAC through literature and cinema. The specific aim of my research was to identify multidimensional cryptograms and gateways, as well as themes and energetic prototypes associated with the astroshamanic Sectors and capable of inducing reawakening stimuli in our consciousness. During that time I looked through whatever was available in literature, art, theatre, magazines and cinema, while establishing links with associated non-ordinary realities. I also thoroughly considered what was happening in the non-fiction arena with the intent of understanding the outer mechanics of HAC and its close connections with alternative realities. Although there was no internet available, I could draw information from abundant sources, such as an international newsvendor, who would daily allow me to browse all the available press and magazines in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish. I would also travel in different locations all over Europe, examining material in public library or bookshops, attending cine festivals and other cultural events. One of the areas I focused upon was cinema. In two years I watched more than 1800 movies and for nearly half of them I journeyed into the related time-line stories and wrote a report. What follows is part one of a synopsis containing a provisional list of movies with strong non-HAC components. Part two will appear in the next issue of PAN. I am providing these lists merely as an example or glimpse of a vast study that I may expose in forthcoming years, especially as regards its shamanic healing implications. The lists refer mainly to titles with a wide international circulation especially in the English-speaking world. They also contain some updated references including the years from 1989 onwards. In the Text Book of the First Basic Level of the Operative Training in Astroshamanism I have already provided a short list of movies associated with each astrological sign, yet this is just a minute fragment of the original documentation. If you are interested to expand on this topic, please let me know. Each title in the list is preceded by the name of the director and followed by the year of production and its association to a Sector or Binary (in brackets). By clicking on the title you can get complete online details on the movie. If there are movies that proved meaningful for you or any shamanic experience concerning the realm of fiction that you wish to share, please contact me.

Progress Report on Manifesting Honourable Intentions by Celia McKenna: During the New Year Manifesting Honourable Intentions workshop each participants agreed to shamanically work on manifesting a given intent, while at the same time supporting the intent of other participants, as part of a collective process of manifestation aimed at experimenting with the astroshamanic network dynamics. Great progress has been made on the work we each agreed to undertake; the authentic Intents that we audaciously committed to manifest. There was an agreement to operate collectively, to see the manifestation of these Intents as a collective enterprise and to make an agreement with Spirit to undertake practices aimed at supporting this, providing impetus for each Intent represented in the centre of the circle, a light flickering in the darkness.
A change in perception has occurred for many people, a release of real or imagined blocks; a transformation or change in perspective of existing conditions and a growing belief in our freedom to make choices. We are indeed the architects of our lives; the creators of our reality.
New ways and forms of nourishment are being explored on all levels, emotional, physical and spiritual. There is a sense of moving into a new phase of life; one strongly aligned with the Intent or “soul purpose” of the individual. And a sense of awakening of responsibility for the future, for the impact of our choices now on the planet as a whole and on the generations to come.
A sample of achievements:
The creation of supportive networks close to home as part of the process of creating wider networks to assist planetary healing.
Healing on a physical level: alleviating physical ailments and supporting healthy, environmentally supportive living choices; ending smoking; adopting a vegetarian lifestyle.
Creating employment opportunities: an invitation to exhibit, job offers, invitations to interview.
Securing resources to provide young people with access to live music and creative opportunities.
Financial successes, receiving resources to clear debts, almost “effortlessly”.
Connections with people: the development of new relationships and movement within existing ones; apparent barriers to freedom released and support offered as authentic needs are expressed.
Recordings of shamanic sounds produced in preparation for a CD to assist people’s journeys.
Not all that has been initially manifested has turned out quite the way we expected. These are not failures and it is important to remember this and continue. There is a need to review and refine the Intent- this is part of the composting process and may involve much pain. The important thing is to release this stage and redefine the Intent carefully. And to never give up.
The pain of the darkness is necessary in order to ignite the intent and I feel ecstatic. It is the start of a great movement and we are the pioneers.

My Friend, I’m extremely moved by what you've written [on PAN]. Over a year has gone by since I last saw you. Much has happened as a result of attending your workshop Manifesting Honourable Intentions, performing together and spending time with you in January 2006.The wish I expressed during the workshop to truly feel and be part of a community has happened in the most unexpected place - right here in Atlanta where I live and have lived for many years. A number of my existing relationships with people and organizations have deepened in significant and meaningful ways. I also find myself involved with new organizations and efforts that work for our collective good such as:
United States Social Forum (USSF): We must declare what we want our world to look like and begin planning the path to get there. A global movement is rising. The USSF is our opportunity to demonstrate to the world Another World is Possible! http://www.ussf2007.org/
Darkness to Light: Training adults to better protect our children from sexual abuse. www.darkness2light.org
I'm also currently a visiting artist in Griffin, GA - 60 miles south of Atlanta. Our Bee Project in this community came about as a result of my sharing what I learned from Sverre in your workshop. We’re working to raise consciousness by creating a community performance event for May 3rd of original poetry, dance, music and theatre about the plight of the honeybee. Our group includes students, teachers, parents, beekeepers, the Agricultural Experiment Station and many other community members.
The Atlanta paper and television stations had coverage both Sunday and today about a new and mysterious threat to the honeybee in this country called Colony Collapse. I don't yet know the details - as I don't watch television or read the newspapers. Others have contacted me about this. I hope Sverre will share his perspective with me.
I’ve begun working with a photographer on a book about my mask theatre work. The Title is: Re-membering the Mystery. The Mask Character categories are: the Healers, the Helpers, the Teachers, the Ancestors, the Humans.
I’m much braver and more articulate about sharing the source and meaning of my work due to the experiences I had with you at Findhorn.
Best of all, my grandson is happy and healthy. His baby sister was born on February 13th. His mother (my daughter in law) is doing very well these days - and my son takes great delight in his expanded family life.
Another outgrowth of my association with you is The Sophia Circle - a monthly gathering to focus energy and support for: at-risk women and children, At-risk species - especially the honeybees, the mentally ill, their loved ones and caregivers. The Sophia Circle celebrates its one-year anniversary on March 11, 2007.
Much satisfaction and joy has come into my life due to the experiences, intents and focused energy in your workshop as well as your belief in my theatre work. I deeply appreciate all your support and efforts on my behalf.
Beyond this, these are challenging times. So many are suffering. Friends and associates experience personal and professional chaos as well as life-threatening diseases. I've discovered that those who would destroy my personal and professional life are also doing their best to destroy the work of others who serve the same goals as I do. It takes constant focus to transcend the extremity of the surrounding circumstances and continue to write, perform, teach and participate in community projects. At times, the effort to keep physical and emotional suffering at bay seems monumental.
Your continued support and guidance is deeply needed. If I don't participate as much as I'd like to, it's because the vastness and intricacies of the worlds you and our associates inhabit, at times, elude me. These matters were much more accessible to me when I was at Findhorn. Out here on my own, I can only seem to keep simple principles in consciousness for any length of time.
Thank you for all you do and all you make possible. Love and blessings, Sandra

Corvaro: a dream becomes reality by Liliana Cozza
I came to Corvaro by chance two years ago in August. With my partner Luciano, I was looking for a place to spend my holiday, but every resort was full up. One day we were going to the nearest Lago del Salto and some dear friends gave us a brochure of the area that positively struck us. We started calling and …incredible but true …in the village of Corvaro, in a small guesthouse, there was a space available during the week of August! My first impact with the village was disappointing: scattered anonymous houses along the plain and some ruins on the slope. We asked an old man where the guesthouse was. He mumbled and then showed us the direction, telling us: “You don’t need to ask”. We looked at each other astonished. When we arrived to the guesthouse, the owner told us that the room was sold up because some guests arrived, but at the same price he could give us a whole flat nearby. We accepted willingly and after dinner we went up through the streets of the old village. A special feeling, like something magnetic in the air, started wrapping us … Crumbled houses with wild plants and empty windows, and the moon lightening the walls and the fortress, a bell-tower, and a romantic Latino-American music coming from far awa! Suddenly something opened up inside me…
The following morning I went along the steep streets again, in search of something I didn’t know. I started feeling a magic atmosphere. I closed my eyes, breathing the air full of scents of aromatic plants and I saw the village completely restored: the houses with the roofs and the chimneypots and flowers by the windows, artisan’s shops and small restaurants… I went up to the fortress: the sky was deeply blue and a peaceful sensation came into my heart while I was looking at the buzzards flying over me with spread wings.
The day after we went to visit a small medieval village completely restored in the Riserva della Duchessa and there Luciano told me that it could be the right place to realize the dream we had before knowing each other: to create a meditation and awareness centre where many people could live together in a common intent, living in their own places but spending together part of the day. I immediately felt enthusiastic and asked if there were houses for sale. The owner of the restaurant told us that in Cartore it was impossible to buy, while there were houses for sale to restore in the old village. Instantly a voice from the next table told us in a solemn tone: “If you want to buy a house here in the village refer to Gaetano Calisse!” We went out of the restaurant and, incredible to say, Angelo Calisse, Gaetano’s brother, was walking to us. He accompanied us around the mountains and the woods of Corvaro. He got us in touch with Gaetano and he told us that the houses for sale were actually stalls with mangers. He was pleased to accompany us… You don’t need to ask!
Among so many houses for sale there was Gaetano’s one: a stall just out of the ancient walls next to the medieval door still standing up: Porta Calata. My heart was beating fast and something told me to buy that house, but I didn’t know if I could get enough money. Calling my family? Better not: surely they would tell me that it was another foolish idea! I spent two days and two nights very upset and the morning when I had to give an answer to Gaetano, Luciano bought the newspaper and by chance we read the horoscope: “for natives of Taurus, Jupiter is transiting in your sky: “Don’t delay buying or selling houses today”.
I became dumb and signed the documents, with my heart beating strong but sure to be right, even if I didn’t know what would happen… “I was the owner of a stall in Corvaro…” smiling I imagined my mother’s face when I should tell it her, and smiling I thought that also Jesus was born in a stall!
Since then I had to take many decisions even when my family didn’t agree… but anyway my character became stronger and carried me trusting more and more the divine, following my choices, even if I would lose the affection of my beloved ones, supported by my daughter Rossana and by my boyfriend.
Now I don’t have a house in Rome anymore. I live in Corvaro with Luciano, who bought himself a stall and is starting the rearrangement. Together we realized a common dream, having an esoteric association based on the deep awareness of our personal responsibility in every moment of our life, on the importance to open our hearts, living with engagement, presence and joy, as much as possible.
The association is named “Terra di Luce” (Earth of Light) and the house “Centro di Meditazione Samanta” (Samanta Meditation Centre). I received the name Samanta during a meditation and the meaning, which Luciano has found in Internet, is “Sacred Girl”; its origin is North American, but the farther root of the name is Jewish, and means “the one who listen to”… If we’ll be able to overcome the first impact, where S. shows a roughness and surliness really dreadful, the doors of an enchanted garden will be opened. Imagination, delicacy, fervour, warmth, tenderness … and so on, S. tries defending her secret world as fragile as perfect and she protects herself in an armour that can be dismantled.
At the opening we were 30 people, and during the first workshop, held by Franco, everything was magic just like when I went up to the fortress the first time. Guidance and blessings came one by one and last Sunday all my family gathered here together, celebrating the house and finally accepting my choice, and one person attending Franco’s workshop received clear guidance and decided to buy a stall and come to live here. The adventure goes on, we could be so many, a family of light that lives in contact with the nature and works for thanking the Universe for this wonderful opportunity and there are still many houses to restore and to bring to life and I wish that a lot of people will come here to realise the dream of a Earth of Light!

At Corvaro from 15 to 21 June 2007, Franco is holding the Grand Original Quest, a special astroshamanic retreat aimed at expanding our multidimensional awareness in a resolute and penetrating way, at the dawn of the imminent and potential planetary transformational processes. This workshop provides a direct and experiential understanding of the many-sided of our nature meant as an emanation of the universe, known and unknown. We will employ various practices from ancient traditions, learning how to navigate through different energy fields, identifying apparent anomalies, fractures, blocks, power points, healing gifts and zones. We will be trained to use the astroshamanic system of the 12 Sectors, the binary and trinity codes, the basic cartography of stellar circuits and other strategic applications for the retrieval of our original 12-strand DNA. The workshop also covers the theme of parallel universes, time-space gateways and the multidimensionality of the physical territory, including the exploration of numerous aspects of occult and non-ordinary geography. We will investigate our most ancient roots, connecting various parts of our ancestral life, releasing old blocks and wounds trapped in our inner and outer landscape, unfolding luminous potentials and promoting healing in the environment at all levels. The programme includes: soul retrieval, time-space voyages, distant astroshamanic healing, trance dance, astroshamanic touch, visionary walks, activation of multidimensional portals, advanced applications of the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone and other practices, which will develop spontaneously according to the motivations and visions of the participants.
The retreat takes place in the medieval village of Corvaro (one hour from Rome), between the lake of La Duchessa and its wild mystery mountains. It starts on the last New Moon of Spring and culminates with the Summer Solstice. The dates and place of the retreat have purposefully been chosen to support this type of work. The event is open to participants of all nationalities and is held by Franco both in English and Italian. This is the first prologue workshop of the Astroshamanic Gateways Series, a series of events devoted to the experiential understanding and astroshamanic exploration of multidimensional gateways, alternative configurations, the Sacred Cone and the Provisional Order.
